Practice Philosophy

We aim to provide family medice and care in a friendly environment respecting the needs of patients and staff

 

Opening Hours

We are open 8.30am - 1.30pm and 2.00m - 6.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  On Wednesdays we have evening appointments.  On Thursdays we are open from 8.30am - 6.00pm.  We are closed on Saturdays. Appointments are available during the hours listed below. To see a doctor or nurse please telephone us or come into the surgery to book an appointment.   We also have Telephone appointments for patients who feel they just want to speak to a GP or Practice Nurse.

Wednesday	9.00am – 11.00am	3pm – 5.00pm and evening surgery from 6.00pm
Thursday	9.00am – 11.00am	4pm - 5.00pm
Friday	9.00am – 11.00am	2.30pm – 5pm

Appointments

We have three types of appointments. All appointments can be made at the reception desk or by calling 0141 423 1398

1. Routine

This is for non urgent appointments with a specific GP or practice nurse. We would endeaver to offer an appointment within 2 working days but if you request a particular  GP you may have to wait longer. These appointments are 10 minutes with a GP and 15 minutes with the practice nurse. If t you think you may need longer than one appointment please ask the receptionist to book you a double appointment. 

2.Urgent

Patients with urgent problems will be seen the same day. You may be asked to speak to a health care professional to confirm if an urgent appointment is appropriate. All urgent appointments are with the available doctor and it is not possible to offer a particular GP.These appointments are only to deal with the urgent problem.

3. Telephone

We offer telephone advice. Please leave a contact number and some indication of the problem and one of the doctors or practice nurse will call you back.
